These days, quality time spent with friends is hard to come by. It’s no wonder why special events like bachelorette parties are held in intimate settings, with close friends. We were excited to host the ladies of Town & Country as they began their ‘Girls Gone Mild’ bachelorette night out. Primped and pampered, we sent the bride-to-be and her ladies off ready to conquer the night.
Let’s face it, sometimes it’s hard to avoid reaching for that shiny pair of scissors out of shear(!) frustration. We’re referring to the process of growing bangs out, of course! Be sure to see John’s five expert tips sure have even the bluntest of bangs effortlessly blended come winter.
-Know that you have options and explore those options. Remember, you are not your bangs.
-Be sure to get regular trims to ensure that your hair is able to properly absorb moisture and vitamins; healthy hair is hair that grows. Every six weeks is best.
-Change up your part. A middle part will be a bit difficult to perfect with short bangs. Opt for an angled part and use a bit of weighted product (think styling clay) to keep flyaways and stray hairs tamed.
-Get a deep conditioning treatment or masque about every week or so to ensure that hair is properly moisturized, especially with the colder months ahead.
-Braid or twist your bangs into your desired style. This is a great way to disguise transitional bangs and no one will know what you’re up to.
