Nina Garcia is back and last night’s episode of Project Runway All Stars took a whole new turn! Bloggers became models and the design focus was Radiant Orchard, Pantone’s color for 2014. The winner’s prize will be featured on Hall of Style, endorsed by Nina Garcia and the designer will receive a $10,000 prize from Pantone.
Now, while bloggers typically report from behind the scenes, who knew they made outstanding models?! The designer’s pieces were impeccable! Admittedly, there was a bit of drama when it came to fittings since the designers weren’t working with their usual models but in the end, the pieces and the bloggers shined.
Korto: Korto always keeps it sleek and this week was no different. The pant and vest were impeccable and we’re glad Nina shared our sentiments!
Who went home?
Viktor: So sad to see him go! Victor’s dress and jacket were brilliant but they weren’t exactly what the judges were looking for–nothing groundbreaking.
Let’s get to the hair and heart of it all. Here are Antonio’s behind the scenes favorites from last night’s show.

If you missed last night’s episode of Project Runway All Stars, you missed a big one!The episode was packed with opportunities–namely the chance for one designer to design a red carpet look for host and QVC correspondent Lisa Robertson. Now, if that doesn’t sound good enough, the winning designer also has a chance to have a version of his or her dress sold on QVC.
Let’s just say no one was safe this go round. Let’s start with the winner: Korto! It’s her first win and is very well deserved! Korto had one of the more conservative designs but her work is undoubtedly special…congrats, Korto! Last night’s loser: Irina (shocking considering Irina won last week’s challenge). Irina’s dress was beautiful but didn’t seem to be right for the red carpet.
Designers, hide your scissors, hide your thimbles because no one is safe on Project Runway All Stars the season!

“Like the blowout, the braid boasts a certain even-better-the-next-day quality, slowly devolving from something studied into an appealingly flyaway look over time. Vogue Social Editor Chloe Malle drops in regularly to New York City’s John Barrett salon—where, yes, there is a full-fledged braid bar—before big events, and frequently wears her plaited, slept-in updo into the office the next day. ‘I like the way it looks, the romance, the softness and imperfectness,’ Malle says of its lived-in “Heidi gets glam” quality. And, quite possibly, the fact that it comes with a built-in extra hour of sleep.”
